Starfield to Get Official DLSS Support and QoL Changes Soon

Starfield Will Get Official DLSS Support with Future Update

Stafield DLSS and mod support coming soon

Starfield, on launch, lacked several expected features in any modern release such as DLSS support for Nvidia GPUs, FOV sliders, and other essential elements. Many players expressed their concerns about these missing features. However, Bethesda has now addressed these concerns and revealed some important updates. They have also acknowledged the need for official mod support.

Starfield Will Get Official DLSS Support with Future Update

Bethesda has officially announced that Starfield will receive official DLSS support for Nvidia GPUs in a future update. This is a game-changing addition, as many players were disappointed when the game launched without DLSS support. While modders were able to add support for Nvidia’s upscaling technology, it was not officially available in the game. Bethesda is now working with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel to improve the stability and performance of the game through driver support. This future update will bring several other changes to Starfield, including requested features such as brightness and contrast controls, HDR calibration menu, FOV slider, 32:9 ultrawide monitor support (PC), and an eat button for food.

Starfield Mod Support Releasing Early Next Year

Another highly anticipated feature for Starfield is official mod support. Bethesda has confirmed that they are working to add built-in mod support for the game. This support will be available on every platform, including PC and Xbox Series X/S, and will function similarly to Skyrim and Fallout 4. The release of mod support is scheduled for early next year, aligning with previous statements made by Todd Howard in an interview. In the meantime, players can enjoy various Starfield mods created by the community.

It is clear that Bethesda is committed to addressing player feedback and improving the Starfield experience. With the upcoming DLSS support and official mod support, players can look forward to a more enhanced and customizable gameplay experience in the future.
