iPhone 15 Battery Capacity Revealed: What to Expect

iPhone 15 Battery Details

Apple has recently launched the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series, featuring exciting new features such as a USB Type-C port, 48MP cameras, and the innovative Dynamic Island technology. While Apple provided extensive details about the lineup during the event, they remained elusive about one crucial aspect – the battery capacity. However, we now have the information you’ve been waiting for. Here’s everything you need to know about the battery capacity of the iPhone 15 series.

According to reports from a Chinese regulatory listing, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are equipped with batteries that have been upgraded by up to 2.3% compared to the previous iPhone 14 series.

The iPhone 15 boasts a battery capacity of 3,349mAh while the iPhone 15 Plus is powered by a larger 4,383mAh battery. In comparison, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus had battery capacities of 3,279mAh and 4,325mAh, respectively. Moving on to the Pro models, the iPhone 15 Pro is equipped with a 3,274mAh battery, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max takes the lead with an impressive 4,442mAh battery. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro featured a 3,200mAh battery, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max had a 4,323mAh battery capacity.

Apple claims that the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 15 Pro offer an impressive 29 and 23 hours of video playback, respectively. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus provide up to 26 and 20 hours of video playback, respectively.

Last year, the iPhone 14 Plus proudly held the title of being the ‘iPhone with the largest battery.’ However, this year, the prestigious position has been claimed by the expensive iPhone 15 Pro Max. Not only does it feature an impressive battery capacity, but it also comes equipped with 5x optical zooming capabilities and a premium titanium build. With a price starting at Rs 1,59,900, the iPhone 15 Pro Max offers users a USB Type-C 3.0 port, a 120Hz ProMotion display with Dynamic Island, and many more cutting-edge features. The slightly smaller iPhone 15 Pro, boasting a 6.1-inch display, also possesses these remarkable attributes. Both iPhone 15 Pro models are powered by the advanced A17 Pro Bionic chipset and include 8GB of RAM.

As for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, these models showcase a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display, respectively, with the innovative Dynamic Island technology. However, they do not include the ProMotion feature. Powered by last year’s A16 Bionic chipset, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are equipped with a 48MP main camera and various other enhancements. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are priced at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively.

On a related note, pre-orders for the iPhone 15 series have already begun. However, there is unfortunate news for those interested in purchasing the iPhone 15 Pro models, as their shipments have been delayed. Are you planning to buy the new iPhone 15?
