Introducing the Highly Anticipated Google Pixel 8 Series
Check out the Upcoming Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro!
Over the past few weeks, there has been increasing speculation and leaks about the upcoming Google Pixel 8 series. The excitement has been building up, and now we finally have some official teasers from Google. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro!
Google recently unveiled a short teaser video on YouTube and X (formerly known as Twitter) to give us an official glimpse of the new devices. From the video, it’s clear that the standard Pixel 8 will feature a stunning rose-colored glossy glass back, while the premium Pixel 8 Pro will sport a matte glass finish in a porcelain variant.
The design of the Pixel 8 series carries forward the language of the previous Pixel 7 series with some minor updates. If you observe closely, you’ll notice that the edges of both the Pixel 8 devices have been rounded more compared to their predecessors. Additionally, the Pixel 8 will come with a dual-camera setup similar to the Pixel 7, while the Pixel 8 Pro will boast a triple-camera array, including a rumored periscope lens and even a temperature sensor.
Impressive Features and Specifications
Aside from the design, we also know that both smartphones will feature Google’s highly anticipated Tensor G3 chipset, ensuring a smooth and powerful user experience. The Pixel 8 will come with a 6.17-inch display, while the larger Pixel 8 Pro will offer a 6.7-inch display for an immersive viewing experience.
But Google’s upcoming event isn’t just about smartphones. In another teaser video, the company gave us a sneak peek at the Pixel Watch 2 and hinted at a new color variant for the Pixel Buds. The second-generation Pixel Watch is rumored to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset and a larger 306mAh battery, as well as an Ultra Wideband (UWB) chip. It will also come with the latest Wear OS 4 out of the box. While we don’t have many details about the next-gen Pixel Buds yet, we can expect them to offer enhanced features and improved audio quality.
