Deadpool 3 Release Date (Confirmed)
There have been several changes regarding the release date of Deadpool 3. Initially, the movie was supposed to release on September 6, 2023, but due to unknown circumstances, it was pushed further to November 8, 2023. However, a new announcement states that Deadpool 3 will now release on May 3, 2024. This shift in release date might indicate a larger role for Deadpool in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as it places the movie in Phase Five of the MCU. Deadpool 3’s current release date is just before the release of Captain America: Brave New World on July 26, 2024. This suggests that Deadpool might make an appearance in one of the upcoming Marvel movies.

Like other Marvel superheroes exploring the multiverse, Deadpool will also dive into this concept in the upcoming movie. Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, will utilize Cable’s modified teleportation device to explore the multiverse. Despite being owned by Disney now, Deadpool 3 will maintain its unique style and retain its “hard R” rating, as confirmed by Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder in the movie. According to leaks posted on 4chan, Deadpool will be captured by the TVA (Time Variance Authority) for disrupting the timeline. In a post-credit scene in Deadpool 2, Deadpool goes back in time and eliminates his previous version from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and even kills Ryan Reynolds before he accepts the Green Lantern movie. These actions create an alternate timeline where Magneto and his allies succeed in killing the Avengers and taking over the world. As punishment, Deadpool is tasked with going to that timeline to kill the mutants, resulting in an unexpected team-up between Deadpool and Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman confirmed in a YouTube video that this appearance of Wolverine will not affect the timeline of Logan, as Deadpool 3 is set in the X-Men timeline while Logan takes place in 2029.
