Apple May Launch New iMac and MacBook Pros in Late October: Report

**New MacBook and M3 iMac are Launching Soon!**

Apple’s Mac lineup has long been awaiting an upgrade, and according to renowned analyst Mark Gurman, we can expect new MacBooks and iMacs to be released in the near future. This news comes hot on the heels of the release of a new Apple Pencil with a USB-C port, signaling that Apple is focusing on refreshing its product lineup. In this article, we will delve into the latest reports surrounding these upcoming Mac devices.

The 24-inch iMac, powered by the M1 chipset, was launched back in 2021. Since then, users have eagerly been awaiting an upgrade, and it seems that their wait might finally be over. Bloomberg reports indicate that stocks of Apple iMacs and MacBook Pros are running low, hinting at an imminent upgrade. According to Gurman, Apple had initially planned to release a larger, pro-focused iMac shortly after the launch of the 24-inch iMac.

While the new MacBook Pros with the M3 chip were previously rumored to launch next year, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently claimed otherwise. This suggests that the launch of the new MacBook Pros might be closer than anticipated. However, it’s important to note that we might only see minor upgrades to the MacBooks and not a processor upgrade after all.

Gurman’s report suggests that launching new MacBook Pros so soon after their January release would be unusual but not inconceivable. It appears that Apple is keen to keep its product lineup fresh and competitive. On the other hand, the new M3-equipped MacBook Air is expected to be released next year, giving users something to look forward to.

One of the most significant changes expected in the new iMac is an upgrade to the processor. The current lineup of iMacs is the only one that has yet to be upgraded to the M-series chip. The M2 chip has proven its power with an impressive transistor count increase of approximately 4 billion, resulting in 18% faster CPU performance and up to 35% faster GPU performance. Therefore, it is highly likely that the launch of the M2-based 24-inch iMac will take place by the end of this month.

As for the new MacBook Pros, there seems to be conflicting information among top analysts regarding their launch date. Apple might announce an October event dedicated to new Macs, but for now, we can only wait and see.
